04.04.2019
Hattersheim, April 04, 2019. Kuraray will again this year be present at the Smithers Pira Specialty Papers Europe event in Berlin, Germany. The event will take place from the 09th to 10th of April in the Hotel Palace Berlin.
Take the opportunity to meet up with our experts at our exhibition booth and discuss about our biodegradable and repulpable barrier polymer Exceval™.
Plastic packaging is a big generator of waste and only a small part of this waste is recycled. The European Union “European Strategy for plastics in a circular economy” states that by 2030, all plastics packaging placed on the EU market should be either reusable or recycled in a cost-effective manner. This calls for smart, innovative and sustainable packaging solutions. This is a big opportunity for paper and board coated with Kuraray’s biodegradable* and repulpable barrier polymer Exceval™.
* Exceval™ is biodegradable in water and meets requirement of biodegradation for “TUV OK Biodegradable Water”.
